Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secret, for the actions taken under your account, and for ensuring that the personal data you upload is handled according to applicable law, your IRB approval, and your sponsor agreements.
Administrators are responsible for managing site members, assigning least-privilege roles, and removing access promptly when someone leaves.
Acceptable use
Your use of the product is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance for the term you select. Fees, included usage, and overage rates (if any) are described in your order form. Taxes are added where required by law. We do not store full payment card numbers — payments are handled by a regulated payment processor.
Cancellation
Refunds, cancellations, and service credits are governed by the applicable order form or subscription agreement. Contact billing or support for account-specific requests.
See the Return & Refund Policy for how to raise an account-specific request.
User content ownership
You retain all rights to the protocols, documents, candidate records, and notes you upload or create ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not sell your content and do not use it to train external models.
AI output limitations
AI outputs are draft decision-support materials and must be reviewed by the site team before use. Output may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. TrialBridge does not make final eligibility determinations. Coordinators and investigators retain final authority on eligibility, scheduling, retention actions, and any other clinical or operational decision.
Critical Risk red/orange flags require human sign-off before action. Manual overrides are recorded in immutable audit trails.
TrialBridge is workflow support for clinical research operations, not medical advice, not IRB review, and not a substitute for investigator or coordinator confirmation.
Product availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, deploy updates, and modify or remove features. Material breaking changes are announced in advance where practical.
Prohibited behavior
You may not use the product to break the law, infringe intellectual property, attack the service or other users, harvest data without authorization, or generate harmful AI output. Detailed examples are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, fraud or willful misconduct).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, including violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. We will give notice where reasonable. On termination, we will provide a reasonable export window for your content unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the jurisdiction stated in your executed order form or service agreement.
